On Wednesday, May 24, 2023, the Resolution Foundation hosted a book launch for Power and Progress: Our Thousand-Year Struggle Over Technology and Prosperity, featuring Daron Acemoglu in conversation with Diane Coyle (Bennett Professor of Public Policy at the University of Cambridge). Acemolgu and Coyle discussed how technology has shaped our economic history, and may shape our economic future. The discussion was chaired by Gavin Kelly, chair of the Resolution Foundation.
