On May 2, 2023, Simon Johnson joined fellow panelists Anita Gurumurthy (Founding Member and Executive Director, IT for Change), Daniel Bertossa (Assistant General Secretary at Public Services International (PSI)), and moderator Nabiha Syed (CEO, The Markup) for a panel discussion on “How Tech Meets Work.” The panelists previewed promising cross-sector solutions and gave a high-level overview of how tech is impacting workers and exacerbating inequities in the US and globally.

The panel was part of a two day event presented by the Stanford Social Innovation Review and the Ford Foundation, “Data on Purpose 2023: “Making Tech Work for Workers.”
