On April 14, 2023, the MIT Shaping the Future of Work Initiative and the MIT Sloan Executive MBA program hosted former Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker for a discussion of his book Results: Getting Beyond Politics to Get Important Work Done (co-authored with Steve Kadish), moderated by MIT Shaping the Future of Work Initiative Faculty Co-Director Simon Johnson.

Prior to the book talk, Baker met with a selected group of MIT faculty whose research focuses on issues relating to the future of work for a discussion on how to use policy to shape the future of work, and what the future of bipartisanship might look like.
