In partnership with Schmidt Sciences, the MIT Shaping the Future of Work Initiative is seeking funding proposals from early career scholars conducting innovative field experiments on the labor economics of frontier AI.

Proposals should seek to shed new light on how to leverage human expertise and AI tools to tackle critical problems across domains such as healthcare, scientific discovery, and job design; to examine the broader, market-level effects of AI, including on labor and financial markets; and to understand how this technology will impact the economic value of labor.

Applicants should submit a brief expression of interest by March 31, 2025. Find more information here and apply via Schmidt Sciences.
